Castles and Princes

The app that accompanies the Castles & Princes project in south-west Wales. It covers the stories of the Princes of Deheubarth and the Lords of the Southern March.

Featuring Dinefwr Castle, Pembroke Castle, Swansea Castle, Talley Abbey, the Hywel Dda Centre, Carreg Cennen Castle.

There is a two-part audio trail at Dinefwr, the home of the Deheubarth dynasty, featuring the Lord Rhys, the major Prince of Wales in the medieval period.

The timeline takes you from the beginnings of the Welsh princes, in the years following the abandon,went of Wales by the Romans, all the way through to the final Act of Union.
